“I’m tired,” said Aaron Lewis, “of the medical doctors who sit on boards and say things like they know more about how to care for your children and what should go into your children’s body than the mothers that birthed them and raised them. I’m tired of it.

Dr. Aaron Lewis, who is running for governor of Connecticut, is the founder of The Scribe’s Institute in Hartford, CT, a nonprofit organization aimed at reducing the achievement and opportunity gaps for children of color. An educator at heart and a strong advocate for school choice, Lewis has worked tirelessly to reduce the high failure rate in Connecticut’s inner-city schools. Professionally, he has ghostwritten and published hundreds of books.

“Whether you are a Democrat, Republican, or Libertarian,” Lewis said, “you lose your ‘Proud American’ card when you justify the government enforcing any mandates.”
